Garbellotto - L'arte del bottaio
QUALITY POLICY
The priority aim of Garbellotto SpA is the pursuance of greater and long lasting customer satisfaction.

The company aims at efficient and streamlined management of all the business and production operations, increasing productivity and product and quality service.

With this view, they constantly review all development and research activities into new technology addressed to enabling viable evolution of the company resources, which is reflected directly or indirectly on the products and services the company offers its clientele.

By updating the Quality Management System to UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 standards, Garbellotto Spa intends undertaking the path for continuous improvement as indicated by the standards.

However, constant improvement requires the involvement and collaboration of all concerned and is based on the following factors:
  • Constant efforts to identify new trends and grasp and understand the market needs.
  • Continuous research and selection of increasingly better wood to improve the final product quality.
  • Improved company efficiency by constantly developing the IT system and production system (machinery and means)
  • Training all the company employees and stimulating awareness of the importance of continuous product and service improvement.
  • Understanding the clients’ needs, to then assist them and establish relationships of mutual trust.
  • Improve supplier management by promoting cooperation and stable relationships with them
  • Efficient non-conformity and claims management, addressed to eliminating these wherever possible.
Moreover, a unique global product quality service will be provided, through acquiring and selecting only the best quality woods based on the company’s exclusive know-how, reducing technical times to a minimum and providing complete customer service throughout all the phases of the business relationship.

For the wood sales sector the company pursues the aim of guaranteeing its clients the supply of wood coming exclusively from suppliers with “certified forestry management processes”. This involves a recognised and tested control procedure which culminates with the issue of a certificate from an independent authority, declaring that the forestry management methods correspond to specific “sustainability” requirements”, by defining the “sustainable forestry management” (SFM) criteria, being the quantity and quality (descriptive) parameters that are periodically measured and observed, and enable evaluating the environmental and sustainability performance of the forestry management system. These controls generate an instrument that fully responds to the specific needs of the European market, and the needs for a flexible tool that enables implementing ecologically suitable management that is also addressed to pursuing viable social and economic benefits.

Therefore by updating their systems to SFM and PEFC standards, Garbellotto Spa intends joining the control chain that has been implemented for sustainable ecological forestry development, offering its clientele wood that only comes from certified forests.

This policy and the achievement of the objectives indicated in the “Aims/Indicators Matrix”, will play a decisive role in guaranteeing the ongoing seriousness, professionalism and efficiency that have always distinguished the company ever since it was founded back in 1775.
