Founded in 1775, for more than two centuries we have been making barrels, vats and barriques of all shapes, sizes and woods, successfully supplying wine cellars around the world.

We make leverage on our centuries of experience to manufacture perfectly constructed barrels from the best quality woods.

We produce barrels with an overall capacity of 45,000 hl every year, in our production site that covers a total area of 60,340 square meters, of which 14,137 indoors, and a total of 70 employees.

Our production ranges from barrels of 7 to 750 litres, large barrels from 10 to 300 hl and vats from 10 to 1,000 hl.

All our products are guaranteed and backed up by our efficient technical service specialised in the specific nature of wood containers. We have a team of barrel makers operating from mobile workshops, who periodically visit the entire Italian mainland and an additional team working on the Italian islands and in the other countries where we are operative.

Giobatta & Piero Garbellotto S.p.A. is the oldest and most famous Italian manufacturer of barrels. Given its unique and fascinating structure the company is frequently visited by the leading wine cellars, by schools and universities teaching courses in the wine production field and by other famous cultural and public figures.
